Jacques & Shannon
Location: New Orleans
Memorial Day Weekend I got to shoot the most gorgeous engagement session in New Orleans. We started at the New Orleans Botanical Gardens , City Park, the infamous Cafe Du Monde , Crescent Park, and ended at the fabulous French Quarter. New Orleans was founded in 1718, and there is so much history embedded in this magical city. From the Spanish and French architecture to the sprawling mossy oak trees there is so much to explore in New Orleans. If you’ve never been, I say you should experience the Big Easy at least once!
Last year, I met Shannon and Jacques at a wedding in Dothan, Alabama. Shannon was a bridesmaid and I was the photographer at her best friends wedding (Hey, Megan!). The couple later asked if I would be their wedding photographer and of course I said, “Yes!” Between their fun personalities and Jacques’ hilarious dance moves, I knew we would be instant friends!
Jacques is from New Orleans and Shannon is from Texas. The pair has decided to tie the knot in Houston next spring. However, they decided on New Orleans as their backdrop for their engagement session to honor Jacques’ cajun roots. I maybe a little biased but I think their engagement session turned out perfect!
I will see you both on April 2, 2022! Stay tuned for their beautiful wedding!
