It’s officially spring and that means it’s engagement season. On April 1, 2023, I had the opportunity to stroll the historic streets of downtown Montgomery, Alabama, with Erica and Dustin. This gorgeous couple chose some of the city’s most iconic locations to capture their love story, and the results were stunning. Their downtown Montgomery engagement session was such a fun experience. They have been dating for five years and they are officially tying the knot this summer. I’ve know Erica for ten years and I was over the moon when she chose me as her photographer!
We started the session at the beautiful Alabama State Capitol. The Greek Revival architecture provided a perfect backdrop for their engagement session. They wore classic black and white which complimented the elegant backdrop.
Then, we moved to a few more urban locations including a rooftop by the Montgomery Union Station. It was there you could see downtown Montgomery’s city view. The sun was setting behind them, casting a warm, golden light that made the scene even more romantic.
Overall, Erica and Dustin’s engagement session in Downtown Montgomery, Alabama, was such a blast. I had the best time with them. Being able to capture their love story is such an honor and I can’t wait to see what their future holds.
